Research Presented in Austira
Scott Maanum, a 2008 Accounting Graduate of Concordia College; and Drs. James Specht of Concordia and Albert Kagan of Arizona State University presented a research paper titled "Developing a Module for Enhancing Students Understanding of Sarbanes Oxley within the Auditing Framework" at the College of Teaching Conference and European Applied Business Research Conference at Salzburg, Austria. Approximately 450 presentations were given during this three day conference and this paper was selected as a "Best Paper" recipient. Upon arriving back in the US, the individuals were notified that this refereed paper would be published in the American Journal of Business Education.

Michael R. VanDeusen, a 2008 Accounting Graduate of Concordia College; and Drs. James Specht of Concordia and Albert Kagan of Arizona State University presented a research paper titled "Assessing the Impact of Sarbanes Oxley on Auditing" at the College Teaching Conference and European Applied Business Research Conference at Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany. Approximately 450 presentations were given during this three day conference and this paper was selected as a "Best Paper" recipient. The CLUTE Institute has offered to consider reviewing this paper for possible publication.
