The purpose of the Peace Scholars program is to develop leaders with lifelong interest in issues related to world peace.  Two students from each of the five Nobel Peace Prize Forum colleges have been selected as 2008 scholars.  They will participate in a summer travel seminar to Guatemala deepen their understanding of issues related to peace, justice, and human rights.

On returning to their respective campuses, the scholars will assist with promoting the 2009 Peace Prize Forum and assume leadership roles in peace activities on their respective campuses.
