1. Are there additional requirements for admission to this program?

In addition to the admissions criteria listed, teaching experience will be beneficial to students seeking to develop master’s level skills in teaching world languages.

2. What is the deadline for admission to Master of Education program?
The program operates on a rolling admission basis. Review of applicant files will begin March 1, 2009 and will continue through May 1, 2009 or until the cohort is filled.

3. What are the dates for the program?
Summer session: July 5-29, 2009
Fall semester: Aug. 30-Dec. 18, 2009
Spring semester: Jan. 4-May 2, 2010

Total number of semester hours for program: 34

4. What is the cost of the program?

Tuition: $390/semester hour plus $21/semester hour for library/technology fee
Room and Board: $1,550/summer session at Concordia Language Villages

5. Where do students stay during the summer courses?
Both classrooms and dorm rooms on the campus of Bemidji State University will be used during the summers. This site is nearby the Concordia Language Villages, allowing observation, interaction and on-site learning throughout the program. Transportation to the villages will be provided as needed.
