CONCORDIA STUDENTS STUDYING ABROAD

Concordia College, Moorhead, Minn., has 111 students studying abroad on the May Seminars Abroad 2008 program. Eight May Seminar programs were offered this year and participating students are visiting Africa, Latin America and several countries in Europe.
The May Seminar program offers a unique learning experience, as the world becomes the classroom. To prepare for this month-long experience overseas, students take prerequisite courses focusing on academic and travel issues related to their selected seminar. In addition to the academic portion of the trip, students learn to travel and interact in a different culture and with a wide variety of people. The popularity of May Seminars helps make Concordia a leader in the number of students who study abroad.
Concordia College is a four-year liberal arts college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America offering 70 majors in 24 academic departments and coursework in 12 preprofessional programs.
