CONCORDIA ANNOUNCES FACULTY
PROMOTIONS AND TENURE

    The Concordia College Board of Regents recently approved nine faculty members for promotion and/or tenure. Their accomplishments are a testimony to Concordia’s commitment to academic excellence and to a quality faculty committed to teaching, scholarship and service.
    Dr. Shawn Carruth, Dr. Dawn Duncan, Dr. Bryan Luther and Dr. Jonathan Steinwand have been promoted to professor.
    Carruth, religion, earned her Ph.D. in religion from Claremont Graduate University. Duncan, English, earned her Ph.D. in English from the University of North Texas. Luther, physics, earned his Ph.D. in nuclear physics from The Ohio State University. Steinwand, English, earned his Ph.D. in comparative literature from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
    Dr. Gay Rawson, French, has been promoted to associate professor and granted tenure. Rawson earned her Ph.D. in French from The University of Iowa.
    Dr. Gregory Carlson, Dr. Susan Cordes-Green and Dr. Stephen Grollman have all been granted tenure.
    Carlson, communication studies and theatre art, earned his Ph.D. in communication from North Dakota State University. Cordes-Green, psychology, earned her Ph.D. in psychology from North Dakota State University. Grollman, German, earned his Ph.D. in German literature from Washington University in St. Louis.
    Erika Rux, library, has been promoted to librarian II.  She earned her M.L.S. from the College of St. Catherine.
