King Intercultural Center

One of the most common meeting areas for intercultural campus organizations is the King Intercultural Center. Named in recognition of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., this beautiful meeting room in the basement of Park Region Hall is open for use by the entire Concordia community to foster discussions of culture, acceptance, openness and understanding.

The King Intercultural Center features a small library, kitchen, lounge meeting area, television and DVD player, and two computers. It provides a quiet comfortable meeting place for speakers, brown-bag seminars and classroom space.

The following campus organizations meet there frequently:
  • African Student Union (ASU)
  • Black Student Union (BSU)
  • International Student Organization (ISO)
  • Circulo Hispano
  • Chinese Club
  • Hip-Hop Congress
  • Straight & Gay Alliance (SAGA)
  • Student Peace Alliance
