A great majority of our students hail from Minnesota and North Dakota, but we attract students from 34 states and 31 countries. Concordia students are passionate about nuclear chemistry, art museum curation and music education. They play NCAA Division III football, intramural volleyball and late-night pingpong. Cobbers study hard, engage in the Fargo-Moorhead community and love to get out and help others.
Current students and graduates say they chose Concordia because they wanted more out of their college education.
Our students come for the academic diversity: more than 60 majors and 12 preprofessional programs, all taught by faculty who are not only experts in their fields, but lifelong mentors who are interested in their students’ success.
Cobbers plan ahead, so hands-on experience that prepares them for careers and graduate study is important. Experience graduate-level research as early as your freshman year. Ninety-eight percent of surveyed Concordia graduates land a job or are enrolled in graduate school within six months of receiving their diploma.
Concordia students come to learn about the world, in the world. A life-changing experience abroad turns them into global citizens with impressive language and cultural skills and a fresh, international perspective.
Most of all, our students choose Concordia because they understand the importance of living a meaningful life. Concordia believes education should be an engaging partnership between intellect and faith. Concordia students worship together, celebrate their differences and work to improve the world.
