Concordia College, is located in Northern Minnesota U.S.A. across the Red River from Fargo, North Dakota.
By air:
The Fargo-Moorhead area is served by Hector International Airport (FAR).
Direct flights are available daily from three major carriers:
Delta flies direct from Salt Lake City (one flight a day) and Minneapolis (5-6 flights a day)
United flies direct from Denver (2-3 flights a day) and Chicago (2-4 flights a day)
American flies direct from Chicago (1-2 flights a day)
Hotel Shuttle:
The Radisson Hotel Fargo will be offering a conference rate which includes free shuttle from the airport. Please make arrangements with the Radisson through the website they prepared for our conference. See accommodations page.
Car Rental:
Car rental is available from Avis, Hertz, National, Alamo, Budget, and Enterprise. Rental desks are at baggage claim. Cars are located just beside the terminal. Rental rates tend to be reasonable.
Most participants will not require a rental car. The conference hotel is just under 2 miles from the campus. Shuttles will be provided in the morning and evening from the conference hotel to Concordia College.
By car:
Fargo-Moorhead is located at the intersection of Interstate 94 and Interstate 29. Minneapolis is 3 ½ hours drive Southeast of Fargo via I94. Winnipeg Canada is 3 ½ hours drive North of Fargo.
By train:
Fargo, ND is served by Amtrak out of Chicago on the Empire Builder. Trains depart Fargo 2:15 a.m. and arrive Chicago 3:55 p.m. Trains depart Chicago 2:15 p.m. and arrive Fargo 3:35 a.m.
International participants should check requirements for passports and visas.
