The 72-voice choir continues to affirm its reputation as one of the nation’s finest a cappella choirs and a leader in interpreting and advancing the Lutheran choral tradition.
The choir’s long and distinguished history dates back to its beginning in 1920. The group has performed in nearly every major hall in the United States including Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center.
The choir has toured extensively throughout Europe and was recently featured on a BBC radio show broadcast across the United Kingdom. It has also performed for the King and Queen of Norway and sung with The King’s Singers. The choir’s recordings are distributed nationwide and on iTunes, making it one of the top-selling college choirs in the United States.
