DOCUMENTARY ON FIXING HEALTHCARE
Concordia College will host a screening of “Escape Fire: The Fight to Rescue American Healthcare,” a documentary that looks at a pressing issue in the United States – our health care system. The screening will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, in Birkeland Alumni Lounge. There will be an opportunity after the film to share ideas with local experts.
The film is directed and produced by Matthew Heineman and Susan Froemke, an Emmy-winning, Academy Award-nominated filmmaker. They previously collaborated on the groundbreaking, Emmy-nominated HBO series, THE ALZHEIMER’S PROJECT, which aired in May 2009.
The event is free and open to the public. The event is sponsored by the Concordia College Nursing Department and the Center for Healthcare Leadership.
