CONCORDIA ORCHESTRA CONCLUDES TOUR WITH HOME CONCERT
The Concordia Orchestra from Concordia College will present a Home Concert at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, in Memorial Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public.
This concert concludes the orchestra’s 2013 regional tour which includes stops in Rapid City and Sioux Falls, S.D.; Billings, Bozeman, Great Falls and Helena, Mont.; and Bismarck, N.D.
The 2013 Concordia Orchestra concert tour program includes music of Aaron Copland and Antonin Dvorak. This year’s faculty soloist will be Dr. Leigh Wakefield, clarinet professor, performing Mozart’s “Clarinet Concerto in A-Major K. 622.”
One of the college’s most distinctive performing groups, The Concordia Orchestra is an outstanding 76-member symphony orchestra that has earned national and international acclaim.
