CONCORDIA SYMPOSIUM TO FOCUS ON HAPPINESS
Join the Concordia community as we unravel what it means to live the good life at the 2013 Faith, Reason and World Affairs Symposium, “Happiness: Living the Good Life,” Tuesday, Sept. 10-Wednesday, Sept. 11. Most events take place in Memorial Auditorium on the Moorhead, Minn., campus.
This symposium seeks to tease out what it means to be happy in the modern age. Several questions will be at the heart of the event, including: What is happiness? What is “the good life” and how can we live it? How can we balance “doing well” with “living well”?How can we make time for the pursuit of happiness in our increasingly busy lives?
All sessions for the symposium, now in its 27th year, are free and open to the public. For a complete schedule visit ConcordiaCollege.edu/symposium.
Concordia College is a four-year liberal arts college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America offering more than 60 majors, including 18 honors majors and 12 preprofessional programs.
