HOMECOMING ROYALTY NAMED
AT CONCORDIA COLLEGE
Seniors Colin Sullivan and Carly Grandner have been elected by the student body at Concordia College, Moorhead, Minn., to reign as 2013 Homecoming King and Queen during Homecoming Week, Oct. 11-13. Sullivan is the son of Bart and Kathleen Sullivan, Baxter, Minn., and Grandner is the daughter of Rodney and Jennifer Grandner, Champlin, Minn.
This year’s homecoming theme is “We Are Concordia: A Living Tradition.” The coronation ceremony was held at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7. Other events during Homecoming Week include a bonfire and fireworks, a parade, football game and a Homecoming Concert.
Other members of the royal court, all from the class of 2013, are: Katelyn Henagin, daughter of Harold and Wendy Henagin, Little Falls, Minn.; Mollie Lackmann, daughter of Kurt and Deb Lackmann, Detroit Lakes, Minn.; Moriah Nelson, daughter of Jeff and Jamie Nelson, Stephen, Minn.; Geneva Nemzek, daughter of Sandra Paulson, Moorhead, Minn., and Joe Nemzek, Moorhead; Eli Allgood, son of Steve and Kim Allgood, Mason City, Iowa; Levi Bachmeier, son of Jeff and Eileen Bachmeier, West Fargo, N.D.; Matt Dymoke, son of Randy and Pam Dymoke, Bloomington, Minn.; and Dylan Jones, son of Douglas and Lisa Jones, Bemidji, Minn.
Concordia College is a four-year liberal arts college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America offering more than 60 majors, including 18 honors majors and 12 preprofessional programs.
