Complete in 1966, Jake Christiansen Stadium was named in honor of legendary coach Jake Christiansen. Christiansen guided Cobber football teams from 28 years, winning one national championship and enduring only one losing season.

The Jake has seating for 7,000 sports fans alike. The Jake is complete with full-regulation size turf football field, grass competition soccer field and an eight-lane all-weather Mondo track, along with long-jump sand pits, high jump and pole vault mats and a steeplechase track. For track and field competitions, a wireless timing system was installed at the stadium.

As of 2014, the Jake has built new locker rooms for the Cobber football team and women's soccer team, along with installing all-weather paved parking spots east of the fields.
