Campus Service Commission's (CSC) mission is to develop a lifelong commitment to service throughout Concordia by integrating academic studies with the meeting of community needs. CSC does this by providing opportunities for students to spend time in the F-M community participating in a variety of service programs. Each student who serves through CSC commits to serving two hours every week at one of the nine agencies of their choice. Reflection sessions are also held by the student-led CSC staff to help students connect their service experiences with their education at Concordia.
CSC also sponsors multiple food/clothing drives and blood drives each year, as well as several large group projects each semester, which are open to all students at Concordia as well as campus organizations. In addition, CSC organizes Hands for Change during fall orientation and BREW Week each November.
