Dear Students,

We are letting you know that this week, the CDC moved Clay County’s COVID-19 Community Level to high. Community Levels are based on cases and hospitalizations in the region. When an area is in the high category, the CDC and Minnesota Department of Health recommend people wear masks in public, indoor settings. You may want to consider masking, especially when in a crowd.

Our campus case numbers are currently low. As classes begin this week, we will closely monitor our campus indicators to determine if or how the Community Level has affected the college. We may adjust our optional masking policy if there is a significant impact on our operations and the Concordia community.

For those who have not yet returned to campus, we want to remind you to test for COVID. Rapid tests are available at the Campus Information desk in Knutson if you do not have other options.

Lastly, there will be a vaccine clinic on campus on August 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Knutson. This is a great opportunity to get up to date with your COVID vaccine.

Much more COVID-related information and resources can be found at www.cord.edu/COVID.

Thank you for your continued support,
