Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,

For people who are staying and working on campus during Winter Break, the COVID protocol will remain the same, except for Dec. 23-Jan.2.

During that time frame, the COVID Helpline will not be staffed, however, there will still be access to help if needed.

Students: If you have health-related questions, call Sanford Ask-A-Nurse at 701-234-5000.
If you have urgent issues related to access to food or other support while in isolation, call Public Safety 218-299-3123, and they can connect you with staff who are on call.

Employees scheduled to work: Notify your supervisor. They will be able to answer questions about PTO/EIB.

If you test positive, you will need to isolate for five days and then mask for an additional five days. Find more specific details at www.cord.edu/COVID. You will still need to email covid19helpline@cord.edu or leave a voicemail at 701-730-8304 to report a positive case if you are/were on campus. The college continues to provide the Minnesota Department of Health with campus data.

If you will not be on campus during break but test positive, you do not need to report cases to the college.

The COVID Helpline staff will resume assisting people and returning messages Jan. 3.

Reminder, you can order free tests to be delivered to your home or dorm at COVID.gov/tests. Minnesota residents (including on-campus students) can also order tests here.

Enjoy the break,

COVID Response Team
