Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,

Welcome back. We hope you had a happy and restful Thanksgiving.

As we return from the holiday weekend and approach the final weeks of the semester, we ask that you be vigilant about masking, social distancing, and monitoring for symptoms. This is especially important if you traveled or spent time with large groups during the holiday. For those who have traveled or spent time in large groups, we also encourage you to get tested for COVID.

The Moorhead community testing site offers free rapid testing (1-3 hours for results) as well as free PCR saliva tests (48-72 hours).

To ensure we take appropriate steps to reduce spread, we do need to be notified if you test positive. Students should contact the COVID Student Helpline at 701.730.8304 or COVID19Helpline@cord.edu. Employees need to call Human Resources at 218.299.3339.

For those who may be interested in receiving booster shots, the CDC now says anyone 18 and older may receive them. You can find more information about booster shots here. Concordia is not requiring booster shots at this time.

As a reminder, you can keep track of cases of COVID on our Planning and Updates page. Numbers are updated weekly.

Thank you,

COVID Response Group
