To decrease the likelihood of COVID-19 spread on campus, reduce the number of people on campus, and avoid close contact with others, visitors will have additional guidelines for visits to campus. The definition of visitors includes, but is not limited to: family members of Concordia students and employees, prospective students and their families, alumni, academic visitors, contractors, visiting athletics teams and staff, athletics officials, and vendors conducting business with the college, including making deliveries to the college.

At this time, visitors inside college-owned buildings are restricted to those conducting approved on-campus interactions. Approved interactions may include, but are not limited to, student support, admission events, move-in/move out, and business and education operations.

Students who live on campus may have guests in their rooms or apartments, but they must be able to maintain social distancing. Face coverings are encouraged when guests are present and no overnight guests are permitted at this time.

Employee family members, not here for official college business, are welcome on the campus grounds and must be accompanied by the employee family member at all times when in campus buildings.

All visitors to offices are strongly encouraged to have an appointment with a Concordia employee who is authorized to be on campus. Visitors will be accompanied by their employee host.  College employees should consider if the purpose of the visit could be accomplished virtually, rather than face to face on campus.

Certain buildings will be open to visitors who have a need for a visit to campus rather than a virtual or remote.

Visitors should follow up-to-date Concordia health practice guidelines, including requirements for face covering usage, frequent and proper hand washing, covering coughs, staying home when ill and maintaining six feet of physical distance whenever possible. Visitors should review their own symptoms immediately prior to arriving on campus for an in-person meeting. Visitors who do not feel well or exhibit any COVID-19 symptoms should reschedule their meeting and must not come to campus.

Visitors to outdoor spaces on the college campus may be asked to leave campus if exhibiting behaviors not in line with the college’s health practice recommendations.
