Women's and Gender Studies | Minor
All women’s and gender studies students take “Women’s and Gender Studies: Frameworks and Issues,” which provides the theoretical structure with which to analyze gender issues alongside race, ethnicity, class and sexuality. The other courses to complete the minor are up to you. Concordia offers 15 courses on a regular basis and other courses across campus can be requested, along with a compelling reason, to count toward the minor.
Other opportunities include co-op studies and internships for course credit.
A women’s and gender studies minor pairs perfectly with any other major. Recent grads are working as pastors, authors and AmeriCorps volunteers. Others are pursuing advanced degrees in graduate school.Learn More
