Faculty Leader
Amy Watkin is a professor of English and women's and gender studies. Her areas of interest include women writers, gender studies, literary adaptations, 18th- and 19th-century British literature, and human rights.
She’s currently writing a historical fiction novel about Constance Wilde, the wife of famed Irish writer and gay icon Oscar Wilde. She has been to England a few times but never specifically to focus on British writers, so this trip will be very exciting!
