Two weeks into fall football camp at Concordia, David Morse ‘11 got a call notifying him he was being deployed to serve in Iraq with the National Guard.
After 16 months overseas, Morse returned to Concordia to play for the Cobbers and finish his degree. Morse soon became a training NCO for the Minnesota National Guard after graduation and got involved with the Wounded Warriors Guide Service, volunteering his time to take veterans with disabilities on hunting and fishing trips.
Now, Morse is the founder and host of the "American Heroes Outdoors" television show, offering an opportunity for military veterans to not only enjoy time hunting or fishing in the great outdoors but to share their stories with the world.
