Dr. Jean E. Roberts
Dr. Jean Roberts is a freelance concert artist currently living in Moorhead, Minn., where her husband is the chair of the Concordia College department of music. Following degrees from the Eastman School of Music and the Yale University School of Music, Jean holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Her performances have been broadcast on National Public Radio and by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
Along with her husband, John, she has performed several two-piano concertos with the Western Australian Symphony Orchestra, the Penang Festival Orchestra in Malaysia, the Charlotte Philharmonic, the Charlotte Repertory Orchestra and the Salisbury Symphony Orchestra. They have performed as a two piano team in Japan, Italy and Australia. Jean also serves as organist in various churches and accompanies students and faculty at Concordia.
