Collaborative Pianist/Artist-in-Residence, Accompanying Piano, Coaching, and Opera Workshop Music

Stephen Sulich, Collaborative Pianist and Artist-in-Residence in the Hvidsten Hall of Music, has served on the Concordia College Department of Music faculty since December 2009. He has collaborated with faculty and students in voice and instrumental recitals, coachings, juries, masterclasses, competitions, and graduate school DVD sessions.

He was guest conductor, chorusmaster, coach, and collaborative pianist for the Fargo-Moorhead Opera from 2003-2021. He has been a guest artist at MSUM and NDSU, as well as the University of Houston, Eastman School of Music, and Hunter College. He has conducted for the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Houston Grand Opera, Anchorage Opera, and Amalfi Coast Festival. He has piano performance degrees from the Jacobs School of Music and continues his work at present in Hvidsten Hall of Music with Concordia Opera Studio, diction classes, and independent study. He is featured as a collaborative pianist with Lucy Thrasher: Cabaret and Ruth Golden: Twilight Fancies. He is married to actor/director/singer Frederic Heringes and presently lives in Fargo, N.D.
