Unfortunately there are no additional grants or scholarships available through Concordia College for study away participants. If you are able to win a scholarship from an external source, you should report the award to the Financial Aid Office and your financial aid package will be adjusted accordingly.

Arcadia – Italy and Greece
Annually, The College of Global Studies at Arcadia University distributes hundreds of primarily need-based scholarships ranging between $500 and $2,000 for a full year, semester, term or summer.
CC-CS – Spanish Studies Abroad – Spain and Argentina
Students participating on a CC-CS program may receive awards up to $2,500. They offer two scholarships: CC-CS Merit-Based Scholarship and CC-CS Diversity Scholarship.
CIEE – Tanzania
Awards range from $1,000–$5,000 depending on financial need.

- Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals
The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals (CBYX) is a fellowship funded by the German Bundestag and U.S. Congress, that annually provides 75 American and 75 German young professionals the opportunity to spend one year in each others' countries, studying, interning, and living with hosts on a cultural immersion program.

- Lakselaget Foundation Scholarship and Opportunity Funds
The Lakselaget Scholarship and Opportunity Fund was established to celebrate, encourage and advance the organization's motto, women who swim against the current. Its goal is to promote the international connections between Norway and Minnesota, and learn, teach and share knowledge that will benefit women in their complex roles in today's society. Scholarships are awarded up to $1000 for studies in Norwary.

- High North Fellowship Program
The High North Fellowship program offers scholarships to students from Canada, Japan, Russia, South Korea and the US who attend an institution in Northern Norway as part of their higher education. The program is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Each fellowship recipient receives a monthly stipend of approximately NOK 9 440, and a travel grant of the same amount.
- Fullbright Commission Summer Institutes for US Undergraduates
The US-UK Fulbright Commission offers special Summer Institutes for US citizens tocome to the UK. These summer programmes provide the opportunity for US undergraduates (aged over 18), with at least two years of undergraduate study left to complete, to come to the UK on a three, four, five or six week academic and cultural summer programme.
- LIV Fund Scholarship
LIVFund offers scholarship in 21 Latin American countries including Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay and Venezuela. LIVFund will award two  scholarships per month to selected recipients in the amount of $500 USD each.
- Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship
The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program offers grants for U.S. citizen undergraduate students of limited financial means to pursue academic studies abroad. Student must be receiving a Federal Pell Grant to be eligible for this scholarship. Approximately 2,300 scholarships of up to $5,000 are awarded each year. Award amounts vary depending on the length of study and student need with the average award being approximately $4,000. Students who apply for and receive the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship to study abroad are then eligible to receive a Critical Need Language Award from the Gilman Scholarship Program of $8,000.
- David L. Boren Undergraduate Scholarships for Study Abroad
Boren Scholarships provide up to $20,000 to U.S. undergraduate students to study abroad in areas of the world that are critical to U.S. interests and underrepresented in study abroad, including Africa, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East. The countries of Western Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand are excluded.. All Boren scholarship recipients must seek employment with a federal agency or office involved in national security affairs. Boren Scholarships are funded by the National Security Education Program (NSEP) and in exchange for scholarship funding, all Boren Scholars must agree to the NSEP Service Requirement.

- Foundation for Global Scholars
The Foundation for Global Scholars serves U.S. undergraduate and graduate students pursuing academic and internship programs abroad. At the time of applying for any of the Foundation scholarships, you must be enrolled in a North American college or universitywhere transfer credit from an academic program abroad will be applied to your degree being earned. Over 200 scholarships between $1000 and $2,500 are awarded.. Award amounts will vary. Most awards are $1000. Scholarships apply to short term and semester/year-long programs. Special scholarships are available for students majoring in specific areas, including STEM and the arts.
- Fund for Education Abroad
Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents currently enrolled as undergraduates in US universities/colleges who plan to study abroad for at least four weeks. Fund for Education Abroad awards are intended to support students planning to participate in high-quality, rigorous education abroad programs either semester or summer. 15 scholarships up to $10,000 are awarded each year.
- Critical Languages Study Program – Summer Program
The CLS Program is part of a U.S. government effort to expand dramatically the number of Americans studying and mastering critical foreign languages. Students of diverse disciplines and majors are encouraged to apply. All CLS Program costs are covered for participants including: travel to and from the student's U.S. home city and program location, a mandatory Washington, D.C. pre-departure orientation, applicable visa fees, room, board, group-based intensive language instruction, program-sponsored travel within country, and all entrance fees for CLS Program cultural enhancement activities.

Grants for students preparing to participate in the U.S. Department of State Foreign Service. Grants may be used toward study abroad.
- Global Studies Foundation – Student Grant
Provides supplemental funds for American students (U.S. citizens currently enrolled full-time and in good academic standing) who will be studying abroad under the auspices of an official study abroad program conducted by an accredited academic institution
- Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship
Scholarships for juniors and seniors majoring in mathematics, the natural sciences or engineering
- Rotary International
The scholarships sponsor undergraduate and graduate students, as well as qualified professionals pursuing vocational studies. While abroad, scholars serve as goodwill ambassadors to the country where they study and give presentations about their own culture to Rotary clubs and other groups. Back home, scholars share with Rotarians and others the experiences that deepened their understanding of another culture. Scholarships may be awarded up to $20,000. This scholarship will be awarded to a deserving LGBTQI student who aims to participate in a high-quality, rigorous education abroad program. Applicants must meet general FEA scholarship eligibility requirements & preferences.
- Hawkinson Scholarship for Peace and Justice
Hawkinson Scholarships are awarded annually to undergraduate or graduate students who are a resident of or currently attending school in Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota or Wisconsin. applicants must demonstrate how the use of the award money for study, an internship, or a special project will deepen their personal commitment to peace and justice and will promote peace and justice for others. Scholarships range between $4000-$5000.
