My name is Mariah Dahl. I plan to major in Exercise Science and Psychology at Concordia College. Sports medicine has always been interesting to me because at a young age I had two ACL reconstructions and two meniscus repairs in a span of a year while having two years of physical therapy. Helping others get back to sports or their life is my passion because I was once there. During fall of 2016 I studied abroad in Australia at the University of the Sunshine Coast. While I was abroad, I traveled to Indonesia and New Zealand, experienced different cultures, visited the Great Barrier Reef, saw the oldest living rainforest in the world, the Daintree Rainforest, and traveled to Bali. This was the first time traveling abroad for me and traveling alone. I met many people from all walks of life and nationalities. I love being active and exploring new places. My passions include traveling, sports medicine, staying physically fit and anything to do with the ocean and beach. Studying abroad in Australia will be something I will never forget and I will always be 'keen' to go back to the Aussie life. Go abroad! You will have the experience of a lifetime.
