The construction of the new Grant Center gave rise to the Anderson Office of Career Success. Centrally located in the building, the office is known for its long name and its outstanding service.
The Anderson Office of Career Success was created in addition to the Concordia Career Center to serve the specific needs of Offutt School of Business students. The office offers Offutt School of Business students more than help securing internships and jobs; OSB majors at Concordia enjoy a resource in the Anderson Office of Career Success that makes their professional success their first priority. The office offers students networking opportunities, access to professional mentors, and any other resource they might need to succeed.
Coordinator, Anderson Office of Career Success
After growing up in Park Rapids, Minn., Julie Lovin attended Concordia College in Moorhead and graduated with a degree in accounting. After graduation, she spent 10 years as a staff accountant with Ernst & Young LLP (formerly Ernest & Whinney) before leaving public accounting and moving to private accounting. After holding positions with Alliant Tech Systems, Great Clips, Video Update, and Wilson’s Leather, she decided to enter the consulting world. After her career switch was made, she was approached by Concordia College and accepted a new position in the Anderson Office of Career Success. She became the first career success coordinator and immediately began making an impact on the students and the college. In her spare time, she loves spending time at the cabin with her three yellow labs, golfing, hunting, and enjoying the great outdoors.
