John and Connie Anthony owned Peterson Anthony Insurance Agency in Trimont and Fairmont, MN. They now reside in Minneapolis, MN. John is a St. Olaf graduate who majored in biology and religion. Connie graduated from the University of Minnesota in speech communications. They have two children, Maylen and Espen. Maylen graduated from Pacific Lutheran University and Espen graduated from Concordia College in 2020.
The John and Connie Anthony Endowed Scholarship is awarded by the Financial Aid Committee to one or more students of any year with preference given to students pursuing a degree in the humanities (philosophy, religion, English, etc.). Selection is also based on scholastic achievement and financial need.
