Bonnie was born in Breckenridge, MN in 1928 and grew up in Dwight, North Dakota and attended public school in Dwight and Wahpeton. She died in Robbinsdale, MN in 2015. Bonnie attended the Wahpeton Science School and graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead with a degree in education in 1950. Clay attended University of Wyoming, while serving in World War II, and graduated from Concordia with a degree in business in 1950. During their working years, Bonnie and Clay held a variety of jobs, but the careers that seemed to define them most was Clay being a Special Agent of the FBI and for Bonnie it was being a Special Education/ESL teacher to high school students.

Bonnie and Clay met at Concordia.  Bonnie said “He found me in the library”. Their Concordia Community was very important to them through the years. Trips to homecoming and Concordia Christmas Concerts were top priorities for Bonnie and Clay usually with their children Michael, Sandra and Diane. Bonnie and Clay had fond memories and stories of being in Concordia Choirs. Soli Deo Gloria "Glory to God Alone" is how they lived their lives. Clay’s motto in life was “Blessed to be a blessing.” May this Christian faith formation program be a blessing in the lives of Concordia students!

The purpose of the Clay M. '50 and Aletta “Bonnie” Larson '50 Brady Endowed Fund is to support faith formation activities for students through the Campus Ministry department with an emphasis on the Fellowship of Christian Athletes program. FCA student leaders help their fellow students engage in their passions for athletics and worship through bible studies, team devotionals, and opportunities to engage in faithful service in the greater FM community.
