Out of gratitude for our beloved immigrant parents, the late Rev. Elling Ellingsen Eidbo and Mrs. Sigrid (Hansen) Eidbo, and to our Alma Mater, Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota, we do hereby establish a memorial endowment fund called the Rev. and Mrs. E.E. Eidbo Educational Fund. Each of us children, our spouses, and others, look in retrospect upon the dedicated service and sacrificial sharing of our respective pioneer parents whose memory we hold in the highest esteem and do hereby wish to recognize their contribution towards a better life for each of us.

The Rev. and Mrs. E. E. Eidbo Endowed Educational Fund is awarded to students from the towns of Bowdon and Arnegard, North Dakota and the counties of Wells, Kidder, and McKenzie, in North Dakota, and /or descendants of those from any of the congregations served by Rev. and Mrs. E.E. Eidbo in North and South Dakota.  Selection is further based on financial need and must be able to meet the minimum academic requirements of the college.
