Established on 10.30.2012 by Anders '54 and Judith Ness

Anders Ness graduated from Concordia College in 1954, majoring in physics. With the establishment of this endowed scholarship, Anders honors the teaching and work of Dr. Carl Bailey, professor of physics. Anders is indebted to Dr. Baliey for patiently nurturing and encouraging him in his studies. Anders worked in Dr. Baliey’s lab and he was the primary influence in Ander’s choice to become an engineer. For this, Anders is extraordinarily grateful.

The Anders and Judith Ness Scholarship is awarded by the Office of Financial Aid to students pursuing a degree in physics. Selection is based on scholastic achievement and financial need.
