Established on 02.14.2005 by Howard and Jacquelyn Peet †
The purpose of the Howard and Jacquelyn Peet Writer's Award is to provide financial aid to writers during the finishing stages of completing their work and to provide recognition to the writers and their efforts. Applicants must be full-time faculty members of the Department of English, have a first-draft "Work" approved by the Selection Committee, and their "Work" must have potential value in the eyes of the Selection Committee.
