Established on 08.19.2013 by Dr. David Vandersteen '86 and Dr. Daniel Vandersteen '87

Drs. David and Daniel Vandersteen graduated summa cum laude from Concordia with double majors in biology and chemistry. Following medical school at Stanford School of Medicine, they completed residencies at Oregon Health Sciences University and the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, respectively. Each then completed a fellowship at the Mayo Clinic. David is a pediatric urologist, and Daniel is a dermatopathologist.

The purpose of the Vandersteen Endowed Fund for Undergraduate Research is to support undergraduate research activities of students planning to pursue training in the health professions.
