The May Seminar Abroad is a 25-day, 4-credit, faculty-led, travel-study program that takes students to multiple learning sites to explore a topic or question through comparative inquiry and/or experiential perspective building. The program includes a required pre-departure course. This Pre-May Seminar course (2 or 4 credit) is taught during spring semester by the leader to prepare the group academically for the study abroad experience. The Pre-May Seminar may be a course specially designed to support the May Seminar Abroad. It may be a departmental course related to the topic of the seminar. This required pre-departure course includes meetings outside of class for group-building and travel-related preparation.
