Concordia Choral Festival at Benaroya

Rehearse and perform with René Clausen and The Concordia Choir in the famous Benaroya Hall stage on Sunday, February 23, 2014, between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.
This page will serve as your portal for information regarding our Sunday, February 23rd, 2014 concert event.
Register up to twelve of your student singers with this form at only $10 per student. Participation is limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. If you need help with the form, please contact us.
The schedule for the day will look something like this:
- 11:00 a.m. Quartets, octets and conductors arrive and check-in at Benaroya
- 11:30 p.m. Lunch on site w/Concordia Choir, honor choir singers and conductors
- 12:30 – 1:00 p.m. Concordia Choir rehearses w/honor choir singers
- 1:00– 1:45 p.m. Observe Concordia Choir rehearsal with Dr. Clausen on stage
- 1:50 – 2:10 p.m. Mass choir run-through with honor choir singers
- 2:15 p.m. Break; concert hall is opened
- 3:00 p.m. CONCERT Includes the Seattle debut of a new Hans Zimmer piece
- 4:50 – 5:00 p.m. Mass choir w/ honor choir singers & Concordia Choir
The mass choir will rehearse and perform the following pieces with René Clausen and The Concordia Choir on the Benaroya Hall stage during the concert:
- Freedom Come – Ben Allaway; SATB - Santa Barbara
- Calling My Children Home - arr. Jennings; SATB - Hinshaw Music
Since our rehearsal time is limited, it will be imperative that your students know their music in advance. Both pieces are available at J.W. Pepper or your favorite retailer. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you in Seattle!
