Dr. Karen Babine ’01 has won a Minnesota Book Award with her first collection of essays, “Water and What We Know: Following the Roots of a Northern Life.”
It was honored in the memoir and creative nonfiction category.

Fay Ferguson ’73, co-CEO of Burrell Communications Group (BCG) in Chicago, will deliver the Commencement address May 1 as approximately 500 bachelor's degrees and six Master of Education degrees will be presented during Concordia's Commencement ceremony.
