A new king and queen begin their reign at Concordia.
Seniors Garrett Horejsi and Grace Bateman have been elected by the student body to reign as 2016 Homecoming King and Queen during Homecoming Week, Oct. 7-9.
Horejsi is the son of Gregory and Marla Horejsi, Little Falls, Minn. Bateman is the daughter of Robert and Jennifer Bateman, Park Rapids, Minn.
Other members of the royal court, all from the class of 2016, are Joshua Mackner, Justin Odney, Cody Bekkerus, Kyle Stengel, Rachael Schauer, Emily Campbell, Rachel Dieter and Madeline Johnson.
This year’s homecoming theme is "Concordia Homecoming: It’s a Big Deal.” Events that take place during Homecoming Week include a bonfire and fireworks, a parade, football game and a Homecoming Concert.
