Three Concordia students were among 43 students participating in the 2016 Minnesota Private College Scholars Showcase March 10 in St. Paul, Minn.
Cassondra Thompson ’16 and Rachel Schauer ’17 presented “Understanding Gender and Age Differences in Financial Risk Tolerance: The Role of Emotions.” Thompson is from Spencer, Iowa, and Schauer is from Valley City, N.D. Their faculty advisor is Dr. Philip Lemaster, assistant professor of psychology.
Audrey Gunn ’16 presented “Restoring Chaucer to his Feet: Punctuation as a Means of Metrical Regularity in the 1721 Urry Edition of Troilus and Criseyde.” Gunn is from Eagan, Minn. Her faculty advisor is Dr. David Sprunger, professor of English.
The Scholars Showcase recognizes that undergraduate student research provides opportunities for students to explore the kinds of projects they will pursue later in their educational paths and careers. The event is an opportunity for the public to review poster displays and discuss undergraduate scholars’ findings.
