Three Cobbers Named to Top 25 Women in Business List

Congratulations to the three Cobber alumnae named to Prairie Business Magazine’s list of Top 25 Women in Business for 2022. The 25 women come from varied backgrounds, businesses and industries, and each has made exceptional contributions in their careers and communities. The nomination process emphasizes professional achievement, community contributions, and volunteerism.

·      Wendy (Remme) Wills ’94, chief experience officer, First International Bank & Trust, Sioux Falls, S.D.

First International is a full-service, independent community bank, a member of FDIC, and an equal housing lender. Branches are located in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Arizona and started as a Farmer’s State Bank in North Dakota 112 years ago. Wills has been with First International since 2016.

·      Michelle (Christensen) Daggett ’94, president, Lakeshirts, Detroit Lakes, Minn.

Lakeshirts is a wholesale supplier of custom-designed, embroidery and screen-printed apparel, accessories, and all types of products. Lakeshirts also operates a retail store located on West Lake Drive on the beach in Detroit Lakes – open May-Labor Day. Daggett has been with Lakeshirts for more than 25 years.

·      Kristi Hall-Jiran ’89, chief philanthropy and partnership officer, Altru Health System, Grand Forks, N.D.

Altru is a community of more than 3,500 health professionals and support staff committed to caring for the Grand Forks region for over 130 years. Hall-Jiran has been with Altru since January 2019.
