Aug. 25: Halls Open and Move-In for Incoming Students

  • All halls, including college apartments, officially open at 8 a.m. Students should go to the lobby of their hall to check-in.

Aug. 25-28: Move-In for Returning Students

  • Returning students are able to check-in any time after Aug. 25 at 8 a.m. until classes begin on Aug. 29. To check in, please follow the instructions posted in the lobby of your hall.

Oct. 1: Housing Application for Spring Housing 2020 opens on MyHousing

Oct. 19-27: Fall Interim

  • All halls remain open during this midsemester break.
  • Please note: Dining Services on campus will have limited hours during this time. More information will be posted prior to break.

Nov. 27-Dec. 1: Thanksgiving Recess

  • All halls remain open during this Thanksgiving break.
  • Please note: Dining Services on campus will have limited hours during this time. More information will be posted prior to break.

Dec. 1: Deadline to cancel on-campus housing for Spring 2020 without a $200 cancellation fee

  • You must notify the Office of Residence Life in writing (such as email) if you decide to cancel.

Dec. 19: Traditional halls close at 10 a.m. for winter break

  • All traditional halls officially close. All residents must leave by 10 a.m. (unless they have applied for Winter Break Housing through MyHousing).
  • College apartments and townhouses will remain fully open during winter break.
  • Please note: Dining Services will be closed during this time.

Jan. 6: Halls open for spring semester 2019

  • All traditional halls will re-open at 9 a.m.
  • For new students checking into housing, please contact your Hall Director prior to your arrival to schedule a check-in, or go to your assigned hall and follow the instructions posted.

Jan. 31: 2020-2021 Returning Student Housing Application is due by midnight

  • The Housing Application will be available in early January on MyHousing to apply for a sign up time. Room Selection for Townhouse Sign-Up and Returning Student Housing Sign-Up will take place in February.

May 1: Deadline to cancel housing for the 2020-2021 academic year

  • Failure to cancel by the deadline will result in a $200 fee. You must notify the Office of Residence Life in writing (such as email) if you decide to cancel.

May 4: Halls close at 5 p.m.

  • All halls, including college apartments and townhouses, officially close. All residents must be checked out by 5 p.m. (Unless approved for a late stay, or have applied for summer housing).
