In addition to Returning Student Housing Sign-Up, juniors and seniors are eligible to participate in Townhouse Sign-Up.
Next year's juniors and seniors must submit a Housing Application to participate in Townhouse Sign-Up, but there is no penalty for applying and then deciding to live off-campus before you select your room.
Townhouse Sign-Up is a separate process from the Returning Student Housing Sign-Up. To participate in Townhouse Sign-Up, students must;
- Indicate in the Housing Application that they are interested in the Townhouses
- Select Roommates during Townhouse Roommate Selection
- Select a Room during your assigned selection time
The Housing Application will be available in January and is due by January 31 at midnight. Once you complete your application, we will send you a lot of instructions and your selection time, so make sure to check your email regularly.
Students who complete the Housing Application will be assigned an individual Room Selection time. Selection times are randomly assigned but based off of anticipated academic credit status for fall - so seniors will select rooms first, then juniors.
Finally, the Townhouses are the only buildings on campus that require residents to sign a separate contractual lease immediately after sign-up. Students can pick from a 12-month lease (Summer+Academic Year) or a 9-month lease (Academic Year) on the Housing Application; however, priority selection times are given to students who select a 12-month lease.
