While offering a different social environment than most residence halls, the college apartments are managed under the same policies and regulations that govern campus housing. The apartments are staffed by the Assistant Director of Residence Life and a Building Manager. All apartments are fully furnished and equipped with a kitchen, which means that participation in a college meal plan is optional.
Apartments in Boe-Olsen are studio style and contain one bedroom, a bathroom, living and dining area and a kitchen. They are furnished with bunkable beds (80" x 39"), study tables, chairs, living and dining room furniture, curtains, internet access, stove and refrigerator. Additional refrigeration units must be approved in advance.
Laundry Facilities: A laundry room is located on first floor with an automatic commercial washing machine and dryer. Ironing boards are available; students furnish their own irons.
Study Lounge: There is a small lounge on the first floor of the building, which includes a printer.
Cleaning Equipment: Vacuum cleaners may be checked out from the Building Manager.
- Storage Room: There is no additional storage in Boe-Olsen; however, arrangements may be made to store some items in other halls. Talk with your Building Manager for more information.
