Transfer/Readmitted Students

Students who left and attended another institution for one or more (fall/spring) semesters and wish to return to Concordia:

  1. Submit the supplemental application and choose transfer/returning as your student type.
  2. Enter the college(s) you attended after leaving Concordia under colleges section of the application.
  3. Request the official transcripts of the recently attended college(s). if you are currently enrolled an unofficial transcript can be used for admission purposes, but an official will be needed once the semester has completed.

Students who left on academic probation or suspension, attended another institution for one or more (fall/spring) semesters, and wish to return to Concordia:

  1. Submit the supplemental application and choose transfer/returning as your student type.
  2. In a 1-2 page personal statement, please include the reasons why you want to return to Concordia, what you have been doing since leaving Concordia, and what steps you intend to take if you return to campus to help ensure your academic and personal success. Send your personal statement to admissioncommittee@cord.edu
  3. If you have any financial holds at Concordia College, they will need to be paid before your application is reviewed. Please contact the Business Office at businessoffice@cord.edu or 218.299.3150.

The Admission Committee will review your application and notify you if additional application materials are needed to make a readmission decision. Your completed application will be reviewed within two weeks and you will be notified of your readmission via mail.

When you are ready to return, you will reactivate your status by submitting the online Intent to Enroll form, which allows you to register, apply for housing, and complete additional steps.

Readmitted Students

Students who left for one or more (fall/spring) semesters without attending another college/university and wish to return to Concordia:

  1. Submit the supplemental application and choose returning as your student type.

The Admission Committee will review your application and notify you if additional application materials are needed to make a readmission decision. Your completed application will be reviewed within two weeks and you will be notified of your readmission via mail.
