Summer doesn’t just mean fun for the kids heading to Concordia Choir Camp June 22-28 — it means singing, complete with rehearsals and performances as well as experiences with musical theater, songwriting, choral conducting, and musical theory.

The Davies High School Vivace choir, directed by Carly Grandner McDougall, was named the Governor's Official State Choral Program for 2025-26.

There’s a lot more to conducting an ensemble than waving a baton around — and now, students hoping to learn the art can earn a certificate in instrumental conducting at Concordia College.
