The event allows students to see how policy influences the healthcare landscape — and how they can play a role in shaping it.  

Jazz vocal group New York Voices will work with high schoolers from across the region at Concordia College’s Vocal Jazz Festival Jan. 31 and perform for the public Jan. 30.

College programs are in March and May. Dual Credit Spanish and French programs run June 28-July 24.

The community is invited to a free lunch and conversation with the owners of Karl’s Wheelhouse, a Minnesota North Shore-based workshop rooted in craftsmanship, vocation, and inclusion, from noon to 1:15 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, in Barry Auditorium at Concordia College.

Cobber Kate Syverson ’05 is back at Concordia, bringing her expertise and experience in social work and healthcare management to her new role as program director and assistant professor of healthcare leadership.

The public is invited to join the Concordia College community in observing Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 19, with a keynote address by Dr. Wylin Wilson, a Martin Luther King Jr. chapel service with the Rev. Lamont Wells as guest of honor, and a variety of concurrent sessions focused on related topics.
