For fall, all PSEO applications and forms must be submitted to the Admission Office before July 15. Moorhead High School students must complete and return forms by May 30. Applications will be reviewed mid-spring.

The part-time Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) program enables 11th- and 12th-grade students to enroll in courses at eligible postsecondary institutions in Minnesota, including Concordia, at no cost to the student or family. The program encourages rigorous educational pursuits and provides a wider variety of options to high school students.

Concordia has a similar agreement with Oak Grove Lutheran and Park Christian schools.

Any 11th- or 12th-grade student who attends Oak Grove Lutheran High School, Park Christian School, a public Minnesota school, are are home schooled within a 15-mile radius and meets the requirements of their individual high school may apply for part-time admission.

You and your parents should first discuss this option with your high school guidance counselor and then fill out an application for admission no sooner than the spring semester of your sophomore or junior year. Include your ACT scores (if available) and your most current official high school transcript. Semester 1 or Quarter 1 and 2 grades will be required prior to admission decisions being made. An ACT or SAT score is not required for PSEO admission but may be requested and will be needed for traditional enrollment after high school. You must meet all admission standards to be accepted.

To start in the fall, you’ll be required to submit your PSEO Program Graduation Requirements and Permission Form and Notice of Registration form on or before July 15 (after being applying and being accepted into the program). Moorhead High School students must complete forms with their counselor by May 30. These will be included in your admission letter. Please note, these forms need to be filled out with your school counselor and parent and are required to register for courses, so be aware of your counselor's availability at the end of the school year and summer. A new Notice of Registration form is due before each semester of PSEO enrollment.

For Minnesota residents, the state of Minnesota and Concordia College cover your costs, including your required textbooks. Park Christian students who are North Dakota residents are billed a $100 tuition fee. North Dakota residents who attend either Oak Grove or Park Christian are responsible for covering the cost of books and supplies. All students participating in the program pay for any consumable resources, such as art and other school supplies. Textbooks that are recommended, but not required on the course syllabus are not paid for by the PSEO program. 

If you are accepted as a part-time student, you are eligible to take up to eight credits (or two classes) per semester. Due to state guidelines, PSEO students are unable to take religion, physical education or courses that include additional fees (e.g., ceramics). Part-time students are not able to participate in music ensembles or athletic teams. PSEO students are limited to 100- or 200-level courses. Work closely with your counselor and Concordia’s Registrar’s Office to ensure your college and high school schedules are compatible.

You will get to meet one-on-one with a member of our Registrar’s Office prior to the start of each academic semester. Registration for PSEO students occurs after the current Concordia students and incoming degree-seeking freshmen have selected their courses. For fall semester registration, you will be contacted by the Admission Office in July to schedule an appointment.
