Collin Thompson returned to the Cobber sideline for the 2025 season after completing one of the most decorated careers in recent Concordia history.
Thompson finished his career in maroon and gold as the all-time tackles for a loss leader in the history of the program. He earned D3football.com All-American honors in 2023 and was a three-time MIAC All-Conference honoree as a defensive end for the Cobbers.
In addition to his outstanding performances on the field, Thompson also excelled in the classroom. He is one of only 12 Concordia student-athletes in the history of all Cobber athletics to receive the prestigious NCAA postgraduate scholarship. He also was named the MIAC’s representative for the NCAA Division III Commissioners Association (DIIICA) Student-Athlete of the Year award in 2025. He was a two-time College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-American.
Thompson finished his career for Concordia with 39.0 tackles for a loss, 120 total tackles, and 15.0 sacks in his 38 games played.
