Cora Zackrison

Head Coach, Softball Athletics

Cora Zackrison became the ninth coach in the history of the Cobber softball program in January 2026.

She graduated from Concordia in 2019 with a major in exercise science and a minor in Spanish. She played for Concordia from 2016-19 and was a four-year starter, as well as the team's captain in her senior season in 2019. She finished her career in maroon and gold by playing in 111 games.

Zackrison developed a great deal of college softball coaching experience after graduating from Concordia in 2019. She went on to become a graduate assistant at the University of Jamestown, where she earned her Master of Arts degree in leadership. She went on to be the assistant coach at the University of South Carolina-Beaufort before becoming the head coach at Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin, for two seasons before the school shut down because of economic reasons.

Prior to coming to Concordia, she served as a volunteer assistant coach at NCAA Division II MSU Moorhead during the 2025 season.

Zackrison is currently the director of fastpitch and player development for the Fargo Area Sports Association.
