Ian Simonich joined the Cobber men’s golf staff in the summer of 2026.
Simonich is no stranger to top-level collegiate golf, as he was a two-time All-Summit League Second Team honoree during his outstanding career for the Bison from 2021-25.
In addition to his All-Conference awards, he was a CSC Academic All-District honoree and earned an Academic All-Summit League award in 2025. He placed on the Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence for three seasons and was a four-time Summit League Academic Honor Roll award winner.
He carried on his excellence on the course during his award-winning collegiate career by capturing his second prestigious Pine to Palm championship in 2026. He captured the title when he was a student at Moorhead High School in 2020.
Simonich has a rich family tradition in Cobber athletics, as both his mother, Heather, and father, Mike, were student-athletes at Concordia.
