Sean Payette

Sean graduated from Concordia in 2017 with a B.A. in music education. He started working for the college immediately after graduating, first as the Hallett Hall Director from 2017-2021, then as the Area Coordinator for Park Region and Fjelstad from 2021-2023, and as Assistant Director for Residential Education starting in June 2023. He began his current role as Director of Residence Life in December 2024. Sean's role includes department oversight, such as supervision of all professional staff, budget management, occupancy projections, and strategic planning and goal setting for the residential experience. Sean completed an M.S.Ed. degree in Student Affairs Administration from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse in 2021 and volunteers on occasion to support the program he learned so much from. In his free time, you can likely find Sean relaxing at home with his cat, Berlioz, and reading for the book club he does with friends.
